A successful in-person meeting was held in Beijing with several government officials and business representatives from Peru, including the future district mayor of Lima, the mayor of Santiago de Chuco in the La Libertad region, the deputy secretary-general of the Prime Minister’s Office, the mayor of Julcán in the La Libertad region, the director of urbanization and urban development at the Ministry of Housing and Construction, an associate professor from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, and consultants from a well-known consulting firm. In-depth discussions were held on topics such as promoting China-Peru industrial cooperation, infrastructure development, and technology transfer, and further cooperation was discussed.
